Memorial Day Weekend 2013

Hello everyone!  Happy late Memorial Day!  First I would like to salute all of the families who have lost a loved one in war, and to those who have loved ones serving in the military now.  Thank you for your service...

So, this weekend we hiked to a couple of places.  On Friday, we hiked on the Alen and Edgar Rice Conservation area.  On Saturday, my mom and I went to the Color Vibe Race. (scroll down to see my post about that) On Sunday, we hiked at a place called Uncanoonuc.  Then finally, on Monday, we hiked again at Mt. Kearsarge.  Also, on Tuesday, we went to Canobie Lake Park (see my post on that).  (sorry my pics are scrambled....blogger doesn't really let you put them in order)

Happy Late Mothers Day!  To the mothers that are be reading this.

So, on Mothers Day, (yesterday) we cooked mom eggs, and gave her our gifts, and then, went to church.  After church, Mom took the van to go see her mom (Nana), while dad and us three boys went to go see his mom (Babci).  We had a great time at Babci and Pepé's.  My aunt and uncle also came to Babci and Pepé's.  When we got there, my cousin and us boys played around for a little, until we decided to play outside with my uncle.  Then, we ate our meal - awesome meal - and played outside some more.  Then, Babci called us in for dessert!  She had Ice Cream Sundays and cake!  Oh, how good that was...yum yum.  After dessert, it was time to go back home, because it was already 4:00.

iPad 4

Here are some pros and cons, about the iPad 4.  I don’t have one, but these seem to be some pros and cons from things I’ve read.
There are several pros to the iPad 4.  The iPad 4 has a brilliant 9.7 inch, Retina display, with over 3.1 million pixels.  This is the fastest iPad yet with the A6X processor.  This iPad also has the new, “Lightning” charge connector.  The one big advantage over Android tablets, is that, on Androids, almost all of the apps are blown-up phone apps, for phone-sized screens, making the tablet screen look pixely, and stretched.  However, the iPad has a ton of apps, just the right fit for the screen size.  Siri, Apple’s voice assistant, is on this iPad, so the user can control the iPad with their voice.  This iPad has the best camera on an iPad yet, with a 1.2MP FaceTime camera on the front, and a 5MP iSight camera on the backside.
There are a couple of cons to the iPad as well.  There is no file manager built-in to iOS, so the user would have to install something from the Appstore.  Even if the iPad was plugged into a computer, the files can’t be transferred.  Also, Adobe Flash Player is not available for iPad.   The iPad 4 is pretty heavy with a weight of 1.44 pounds for wifi version, and 1.46 pounds for cellular version, making it hard to hold in one hand.
I,  for one, like the iPad 4, and think that it would be worth buying.  I think that the pros outweigh the cons.  Someday in the future, I think I want to buy one myself.

Fun Facts About My Family - Early 2013 Edition

We've named all of our computers something in the weasel family.

We have had at least one fish tank in the house since 2004.

The lights in the upstairs bathroom look like old - fashion movie theater lights.

We live about a half an hour away from the nearest grocery store.

We have 20 doorknobs in the house.

Only mom, dad, and I wear wrist watches.

Nellie tries to eat new bark malch.

We have, a Wii, GameCube, 2 Nook Tablets, 2 iPod touches, 2 DSi's, an iPhone, a Galaxy S3, a Kindle, a Dell Inspiron, and a MacBook Pro, owned right now.

Our Toyota Sienna 2011 XLE can't fit into the garage.

I collect hubcaps and rims off the road.

Out of all the fish I ever had, I've never had a goldfish.

Look to the right!  (mobile viewers...it won't be there)  Verse of the day!  Automatic!  Click the link the bring you there!
I do have a new paper that will be posted soon - that is -  when it's finished.  It's called, "Pros and Cons of iPad 4"  because I had to do a pros and cons paper, and I decided that I would do it on the iPad 4.

"Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16"

Okay...I think I'm going to try to make the verse of the day come on to the blog automatically...  Bye!  Have a nice day!

Yesterday

Well, yesterday is for sure, something I want to write about.

So, it started with waking up, watching a bit of TV, and playing an awesome game of Minecraft PE with my bro.  After breakfast, we played outside, and I got to ride my dirtbike.  After that, we all got to go to the MCC Downtown Campus for the Chili Competition.  We got to try 17 chilis.  When we got back home, we played a bit more Minecraft PE and had "2 nights agos's" dessert.  Ice cream.

Well, sorry everybody.  I've been a bad blogger - not blogging a lot again lately...

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7

Have a great May 5 "Cinco de Mayo!"
