My brother's was dropped by someone who was using it, but the crack isn't bad there. It's right near the Home Button. It's not even on the screen. So that's good.
As for the Samsung, the crack when right across the screen, and my dad has no idea how it happened.
We weren't going to replace the iPod screen, but the phone was bad enough that we would. Basically, the phone is completely dead now. As we were taking off the screen, we heard a loud "crack!"... The LCD was cracked. We just thought that the area that it was cracked wouldn't work - but we were wrong. It effected the entire screen. Now there's nothing ever showing up on it.
This = Not Good.
